Per coincedence I came to this procession. The small video just reflects a brief part of the action (had battery problems too). It came all so by surprise but sure was a colorfull expierence for me and a great day for the people of the village.
I had too leave at a cetain moment, the travetites started to get with there hands to my private parts and even a kick by the leg did not prevent from continuing

A JOURNEY IN DEHRADUN
Dehradun is for sure not the nicest city in India, what is attractive are the closenes to the feet of the Himalayas and exiting cities as Mussourie and Rishikesh. Despite that I spend a very nice afternoon walking and looking to all the exotic and attractive views. In the following just a few impressions.

MINIATURE PAINTING AT SURAJ KUND
Being in Jaipur as a tourist made me already aware about the enormeous efford to paint as was done siecles ago, using one single air of squirrel tail! On the event I find also one stall with a very nice gentleman, behaving like sales person, but also having is own miniature paintings with him. Prices start at 300 euros but it is worthwile.... this art will die now within our generation. So go and get it.
The pictures I made are not always focused, I had to make it under difficult conditions, more or less hidden.

Impressions of Suraj Kund Crafts Mela
This was a super Saturday, altought the wetter is quite cool , for an European very inviting to make a trip to remain warm and I was realy not expecting the variety and quality of the objects on display. I really can recommend a visit ... I came in with 6000 rps cash and went out with 100, but I think I was able to get some valuable objects of folkloric art at reasonable prices
Later I will make pictures of my purchases.

GURGAON WILL KILL YOU V
Up to know I did not take the tittle too serious, but today after the kidnapping for financial reasons and the kiling everything seems to be possible here.
The dentist kidknapped 2 days ago , with a request to his family to pay 20 lakh (=20,00,000 rps = 35,000 euro) was killed and find close to Gurgaon an hour ago.
I AM GETTING SCARED
All this happened after it was detected that a kidney racket had is source in Gurgaon and over 3000 kidneys were illegally transplantated in the time of a couple of years mostly has it seems by a doctor without a medical degree.

UNDETECTED SPECIES AT BEACH
It is amazing but even at beaches visited by a crowd of people, still new species are not detected by socalled biologist.
Doing my best to provide pictures. DNA- analysis may show how close he is to human beings
